Graduation Requirements and ISTEP+

Class of 2011:  The ISTEP+ - Graduation Qualifying Examination is a required standardized test for all Indiana students. It is a qualifying test for High School graduation. Students in Grade 12 will take the test during the fall and spring of the school year. The results will be sent to the parents and students as soon as available. These will help parents and teachers determine each student's educational needs.

It is crucial that the students do well on the tests.  If they have difficulty on a test and fail it in the fall of 2010, students will have one more opportunity to pass the test in the spring of 2011. The results will be sent to the parents and students as soon as available.

  • Demonstrate, through means other than ISTEP+ and to the satisfaction of the student's principal, English teachers, and Mathematics teachers, that the student has Grade 9 knowledge in English and Mathematics.
