Young Deaf Arts Festival

HANDS ALIVE! is an annual celebration of the talents and skills of ISD students in various artistic pursuits.  Students are given the opportunity to explore the arts in four distinct areas:

• Literary Contest
• Art Contest
• ASL Literary Contest
• Talent Show

2007 Information:

This year's celebration will take place during the week of March 19, 2007.  All studententries in the Art, Literary, and ASL Literary competitions will be displayed on campus from March 19-30. The winners for these competitions will be announced on March 22, during the Talent Show finale.Family and friends are encouraged to view these displays throughout the week ofHANDS ALIVE!

TalentShowcompetitions will take place:

Elementary- March 19, 9 a.m.

Middle School- March 19, 12:15 p.m.

High School- March 20, 9 a.m.

Show of Champions- March 22, 7 p.m.

Tickets will be on sale for the Elementary, Middle School, and High School shows for $5.00 each.

Tickets for the Show of Champions will be on sale for $8.00 in advance, and $10.00 at the door.
